Invictus

Determination, courage, optimism and perfection are four traits most important to me. More often then not, we lose our focus and are defeated by the circumstances. It is at times like these we need something to revive us; our determination and courage.

I found a nice poem on determination while surfing the internet a few days back. I though this would be a good place to put this up. So here it is, for everyone, a reminder to not give and revive their determination and courage.

Invictus

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever Gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance,
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the buldgeonings of chance,
My head is bloodied but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the horror of the shade.
And yet the menace of the years
Finds me and shall find me unafraid,

It matters not how straight the gate,
Now how charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul.
