Organizing an event of magnanimous proportions is never an easy job. On top of that, being a member of the creativity department makes it an even more difficult task. Yet when at last, your months long planning and hard work is visualized and ends successfully, you feel a sense of accomplishment that cannot be put into words. Such was our experience with TechElite 2009. After three months of hard work, precision, planning and imagination, when the event ended successfully, our joy, and relief, was beyond words (never mind the exhaustion and cramps :P)
TechElite 2009 was held on May 4, 2009 under the leadership of its President, Mr. Najamus Saquib Feroz. Participants from all over Pakistan gathered on one platform to compete for excellence in hardware project, software projects, speed programming and network management. TechElite 2009 commenced at 10:00 am with the recitation of the Holy Quran and hosted by Ms. Tazij Fatima.
While the participants were busy in demonstrating their creative talents, the remaining attendees were attending seminars from some of the leading organizations in Pakistan including Telenor, TPS, Systems Ltd. Wavetec and Interface. Moreover, stalls were arranged for the convenience of the guest and attendees.
TechElite 2009 came to an end at 6:00pm that evening with the concluding ceremony being hosted by Rabia Garib, Editor-in-Chief at CIO Pakistan and an anchor at Dawn News. The chief guest was Ms. Jehan Ara, President of P@SHA. The ceremony started with inspiring speeches by the guests followed by the prize distributions to the winners of the competition. Honorary awards were presented to the Chief Guests and speakers including Ms. Rabia Garib. Finally, the event concluded at 8:00pm on May 4, 2009 with major appreciations from all the guests.
The TechElite team put in a great effort in making the event successful and they were repaid ten-folds. As the time approaches to pass on the responsibility to those next in line, we wish them the best of luck for TechElite 2010 and hope it would surpass TechElite 2009.
Kudos to the team! Wish you all the best for the future!
